Time Management
I think that time management is a very important thing a person’s life, especially a person that is in college. I define time management as the ability to distribute a person’s time throughout all his or hers activities. I think this includes the sports, school, and making time to hang out with your friends. Time management is very important because a person needs to be able know when he or she should be doing something. A college person needs time management very much because there are so many classes that demand a lot of work outside of the class room. For instance, I spend several hours a night doing homework for my calculus class. This is a very demanding class because I have it every day. In that class, I also get a new homework assignment every day. I try to get this work done before I do anything else because it usually takes the longest of all my classes. I also have chemistry, which also demands a lot of my time. It is a five hour credit class, but there is a lot of work that is put into it. I spend several hours working on homework and studying for this class. With several hard classes, I also have baseball practice every day. I have it once in the morning and again in the evening. With practice so early, I have to make sure that I get all my work done so that I can get enough sleep. This does not leave much time to spend with my friends. So as you see, time management is a big deal for college students.
